Pauta is a personal symptom tracking app. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it's handled.
When you log an entry, Pauta saves your symptom data — Bristol type, pain level, symptoms, and any notes — directly on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this data syncs across your devices via Apple's iCloud service. Your symptom entries are stored locally on your device and are never sent to any server the developer controls. The developer never has access to them.

To understand how Pauta is used and improve it, the app collects anonymous usage analytics through Mixpanel, a third-party analytics provider — things like which features and screens are used and in-app events (e.g. that an entry was added), plus basic technical details (device model, OS version, app version).
This analytics data never includes your symptom entries, notes, or any Apple Health data, and is not linked to your name, email, or any account — only a randomly generated identifier. It is never sold and not used for advertising. You can turn it off anytime in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous analytics. See Mixpanel's privacy policy.
If iCloud Sync is enabled in Settings, your entries are stored in your personal iCloud container, governed by Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy. You can disable sync at any time in Settings → Sync.
